First part: Zaho de Sagazan
Phoenix is the most international of French pop rock bands. Their latest album, Alpha Zulu, released last November, was produced by the four Versailles-based band at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, in the Louvre Palace. This new album embodies what Phoenix does best: catchy melodies combined with a consistently innovative production. Indeed, Alpha Zulu - the band's first album since 2017's acclaimed Ti Amo - is an immediate reminder of what made Phoenix one of the most beloved bands of the past two decades, reinforcing their enduring and ongoing influence on pop culture.
Phoenix has also made a name for itself in film, penning numerous original compositions including those for Sofia Coppola, with whom the band has worked on several occasions. Their stage reputation is well established, and their concerts are an intense, hedonistic and spectacular musical and visual experience, with countless songs that have already become classics.
