Brel and Barbara's close and mysterious relationship in life, their friendship, continues in their respective works, presented here in parallel, in dialogue: their quest for the absolute, their vision of the world nourished both by childhood wounds and their "sacred taste for life"! Martine Bousquet and Hervé Tirefort, highly acclaimed for their 2022 Avignon production "Barbara, mes Hommes!", continue their sensitive, well-documented research into Barbara. Nothing is ever lukewarm, never banal: without passion, no life is possible, you have to burn yourself out and keep moving, towards an absolute, towards your truth. Cheating is not an option!
