Description
As part of the fishing week in mid-August on the forecourt of Martigues Town Hall, dance evenings with meals are offered over three days.
Come support the fishermen participating in this national fishing competition and end the day with a tuna feast or a giant paella.
Caught in the Mediterranean Sea, the tuna is carefully prepared by the Martigues Nautical Club. This event is a Martigues institution, having been held for nearly 20 years. No fishing experience is necessary; just let yourself be swept away by the excitement of these dance evenings and enjoy!
Join us on Thursday, August 13th for a mussels and fries evening, Friday, August 14th for a giant tuna feast, and Saturday, August 15th for a paella evening.
Meals are served at the Ferrières port, near the Town Hall square by the water.
The dishes are accompanied by a glass of wine, cheese, and dessert.
The following groups will provide the entertainment: The Blues Brother Tribute (Thursday), Fahrenheit Live (Friday), and Flamenco and Gypsy (Saturday).
Tickets are available at the Martigues Tourist Office (Quai des Anglais in the Île district).
The popularity of these evenings is well established, and the enthusiasm of both locals and tourists during this period makes them eagerly anticipated.
Tickets available from the Martigues Tourist Office from 5 August. Quai des Anglais in the Ile district
