From 7 to 12 August 2026, Eygalières will be celebrating Saint Laurent’s Day with a programme packed with Provençal traditions, musical entertainment, competitions and community meals.
"Nostro culturo prouvençalo, nost'identita eigalierenco !" (Our Provençal culture, our Eygalières identity!)
The Saint Laurent festival in Eygalières offers six days of varied entertainment.
On the programme: abrivados and bandidos (bull runs through the streets), community meals, concerts and dances, aubade and pegoulado (traditional Provençal songs and parades), pétanque competitions, cycle races, children’s games…
Highlights not to be missed!
• Friday 7 August:
6.00 pm – High Mass and blessing of the horses at the church in honour of Saint-Laurent, patron saint of the village
• Saturday 8 August:
11.00 am – Long abrivado and bandido
10.00 pm – Grand ball with the Show Lorca orchestra
• Sunday 9 August:
8.30 am – Cycle race
12.30 pm – Traditional music with a folk parade
7 pm – Bandidos festival
• Monday 10 August:
9 am–12 noon – Children’s games, bouncy castles, piñata…
11 am – Grand abrivado to mark the 30th anniversary of the Grimaud manade
5.30 pm – Pony abrivado
9.00 pm – Big community meal (onion soup)
• Tuesday 11 August:
9.15 pm – Pegoulado and passo carriero: parade in traditional costume
10.00 pm – Grand ball with the Cocktail de Nuit band
