One October evening in 1960. Maurice’s car breaks down on a country road. It’s pouring rain. He seeks refuge in the nearest house, hoping to get out of the rain and call a tow truck. But the storm intensifies, and the phone line is down.
Maurice will have to stay longer than expected. This evening will be the most unsettling of his life—so much so that he’ll think about it for a long time.
