Description
Saint-Sulpice Chapel hosts the Feria de l’Art: 15 artists brought together around the theme “Style Exercises Around the Emblematic Figure of the Bull.” Painting, drawing, sculpture and photography take over the venue.
This year, the date of our summer event has been brought forward to the month of June to allow the artists of the “Summer Kaleidoscopes” to take part in the Istres Feria. The season opens with a collective exhibition launching the bullfighting art exhibitions hosted by our partners, the Tourist Office and the Boutiques d’Istres, where artworks will be displayed in shop windows (painting, photography, graphic art and sculpture).
Visitors will also be able to discover works by Kaleidoscope artists at the Hôtel le Castellan, partner of the event, as well as at the Visual Arts Pavilion stand in the Feria Village from June 19 to 21 (exhibition and sale of artworks and creations inspired by bullfighting art).
No fewer than 15 artists have embraced the theme through their own artistic practices and universes, offering us “sublime” representations of the bull, an emblematic and symbolic figure of the Camargue and bullfighting traditions.
