Meet at the Jardin de la Chapelle starting at 11 a.m.:
- 11 a.m.: “Dans mes petits papiers”: an origami storytelling show by Sandrine Marneux – Compagnie Hulotte – runtime 45 min – ages 4 and up
Do you know what’s hiding in my little pieces of paper? A frog? A hungry wolf? A duck? A bird that loves freedom? Do you know what’s hiding in my little pieces of paper? To find out, you’ll have to fold a little, a lot, and with passion…! (Origami creations made during the show).
- 3:00 p.m.: “Madame Hêtre’s Lush Fantasies”: Show for young audiences – Compagnie Poisson En Avril – runtime 40 min – ages 5 and up
A long time ago, a little beech tree decided to travel the world. She had many adventures and met some very strange characters.
Now an adult, Madame Hêtre tells us about her childhood through tender fables, sprinkled with philosophy and reflections on our universe.
- 4:00 p.m.: “The White Lady” and fables by Jean de La Fontaine, performed by Eric Ferrari
- 5:00 p.m.: “The Bear’s Song”: A musical storytelling performance by Sandrine Marneux and Luc Canavesio (musician) – Compagnie Hulotte – runtime 60 min – ages 10 and up.
It traces the bear’s place in people’s hearts from prehistoric times to the present day. The themes explored are varied: the diversity of beliefs across cultures and eras, initiation, tolerance, perseverance, humor, and cunning.
Young and old alike are invited to come listen, dream, and journey together through these tales and performances.
