The magnificent SWIMRUNMAN GORGES DU VERDON courses are a must-do at least once in every athlete's life.
The beauty of the turquoise waters of Lake Sainte-Croix, the majestic cliffs of the Gorges du Verdon and the natural preservation of the site make it an unmissable event on the calendar every year.
The SWIMRUNMAN GORGES DU VERDON returns in 2026 to the delight of swimrun enthusiasts with a new course offering a new view of Lake Saint Croix.
Four distances are available:

-->CLASSIC SWIMRUNMAN format,
-->HALF SWIMRUNMAN format,
-->ULTRA SWIMRUNMAN format ÖTILLÖ MERIT RACE voted one of the most beautiful swimrun races in the world.
The swimrun race of all superlatives
In the heart of the remarkable Verdon Regional Natural Park, the courses are designed to straddle the Var and Alpes de Haute-Provence departments, two areas that are ideal for outdoor sports, particularly swimrun.
The courses will pass through all the municipalities bordering Lake Sainte-Croix, covering one natural park, two departments and six municipalities:
-->Les Salles-sur-Verdon,
-->Moustiers-Sainte-Marie,
-->La Palud-sur-Verdon,
-->Aiguines,
-->Bauduen and
-->Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon.
While the turquoise blue waters of Lake Sainte-Croix have been the setting for the SWIMRUN GORGES DU VERDON since its inception, it was in 2019 that the organisers came up with the idea of a magnificent swim across the Gorges.
A magical moment in the most beautiful canyon in Europe, which will leave every participant with unforgettable memories.
