Guided hike led by the Tinée Mercantour Guides, a group of mountain professionals who are all state-certified.
Starting from the road leading to the Col de la Moutière in the heart of the Mercantour National Park, we’ll take a rarely traveled, off-trail route that will lead us to the Braisette Lakes, passing by the Cime de la Plate and its 360over the Tinée Valley and the Haut Var Valley. We might even be lucky enough to spot some ibex or a bearded vulture.
Ages 10 and up - Intermediate level - 500 m elevation gain - 11 km
Registration required at 07.82.02.46.71—Meet at 8:30 a.m. at the Saint Dalmas le Selvage parking lot; please arrange for a ride (approx. 30-minute drive).
Expected return around 5:00 p.m. - €35 per person
What to bring: Picnic lunch, hiking boots, 1.5 L of water, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat or cap, sweater, windbreaker, rain jacket
