As part of our campaign to support sick children, the MCBAM association invites you to a performance of Marcel Pagnol’s play *Le Schpountz* at the Salle Polyvalente in Mas Blanc les Alpilles
“In a village in Provence, Irénée, a young, dreamy and naive shop assistant, fantasises about becoming a big film star. When a film crew passes through, they discover his enthusiasm and make fun of him by getting him to sign a bogus contract, claiming he has everything it takes to become the next star. Convinced, Irénée heads to Paris, his heart full of hope – but the prank turns out to be cruel when he realises he has been duped.
Immerse yourself in a ‘Hollyvoudian’ setting, as Raimu would say, and let yourself be swept away by six actresses and six actors for a lively, warm-hearted evening, fully immersed in the Provence of that great man, Pagnol.
But this evening is much more than just a show…
It is also a gesture of generosity The proceeds will go towards helping premature babies. We are very close to raising enough to fund a second incubator with a heated mattress.
And once this goal is achieved, we will continue our commitment by raising awareness for multiple sclerosis.
An evening that is moving, intense and deeply meaningful.
