Nicknamed “The Young Old” for the timeless depth of his voice, the Paris-based singer-songwriter makes a striking comeback with this album, at the crossroads of soul, blues, and American musical heritage.

Born in Texas and raised in Rwanda, Betsy Rose grew up immersed in a rich musical world, nourished by her multicultural roots. Her travels and experiences have forged a unique sensibility, blending alternative rock, reggae, and soul.
Today, she presents a repertoire that blends smooth soul and neo-soul, carried by a soulful voice and captivating melodies. Surrounded by musicians, she creates a sensitive and contemporary world, infused with fragility, complex love stories, and raw, visceral intensity.
