Vents contraires

Written by renowned British author Mike Kenny, this play invites us to rediscover the joy of reading and rekindles all its magic! What would happen if our libraries were threatened with closure? What if books were censored? Oscar, an empathetic teenager, and Mona, a solitary child, meet in their town's library, which has become a refuge. They decide to stand up to the adults who want to impose censorship. The library then becomes a bastion of resistance, a space for sharing and empowerment that must be saved at all costs. What if fiction had the power to transform reality? On stage, it becomes a powerful force: books open paths to freedom and healing, while the threat to the library echoes the disappearance of words, stories, and memories.
