Here, just opposite the vineyards, lies the sea!
To mark the Vignobles en Scène festival, the Vignobles de Provence et de Méditerranée destination, which holds the Vignobles & Découvertes label, invites you to explore the richness of its region through a programme of wine tourism experiences.
From the Mediterranean beaches to the hills of the hinterland, from the Massif des Maures to the Îles d’Or, this extensive destination combines vineyards, heritage, nature and the Provençal way of life. It offers a variety of landscapes and wine tourism experiences across charming villages and vibrant towns, from La Londe-les-Maures to Pierrefeu-du-Var, via Bormes-les-Mimosas, Le Lavandou, Collobrières, Cuers, Hyères and La Crau, right through to the islands of Porquerolles and Les Embiez.
The region encompasses two terroir designations within the Côtes de Provence appellation: Côtes de Provence La Londe, characterised by its coastal setting, and Côtes de Provence Pierrefeu, situated in the heart of the Var hills. This diversity of landscapes, influences and soils gives rise to wines with complementary identities.
Visits to cellars and vineyards, wine tastings, workshops with winegrowers, walks through the vineyards, culinary discoveries and unique encounters are the highlights of this national event dedicated to wine tourism.
Winemakers, artisans, restaurateurs, accommodation providers and tourism professionals share their trades, their stories and their attachment to the region. Make the most of the colours of autumn to discover the wines of Provence, meet the people who make them and enjoy authentic experiences amongst the vineyards, the Massif des Maures and the Mediterranean.
