Visit the trail in Larche along the small works on the outpost line recounting the actions of the scout-skier section of the 83rd BAF (Bataillon alpin de forteresse) commanded by Lieutenant Costa de Beauregard from 10 to 24 June 1940.
The trail links the various works in Larche that formed part of the line of outposts defended by the French Army against the aggression of Mussolini's troops between 10 and 25 June 1940. The purpose of the trail is to remind visitors of these events, which left their mark on the Ubaye Valley.
The trail covers a distance of 3km, with a positive gradient of 200m.
The route is marked out by information panels placed near the former military installations manned by units of the Armée des Alpes.
