Synopsis: August Pullman is a young boy born with a facial deformity that has prevented him from attending school until now. Today, he's starting fifth grade at his local school. It's the beginning of an extraordinary human adventure. Everyone—his family, his new classmates, and the entire town—will be confronted with their own limitations, their generosity of spirit, or their narrow-mindedness. Auggie's remarkable journey will ultimately unite the people around him.
