Description

The Fadas welcome you to their Village des Fadas du Monde, in the heart of summer, on the banks of a pond and pine forest at the Tholon municipal water sports centre. A festive and popular space: music, theatre, cooking, sports, dance and meetings. All free of charge.
- Market of the Eccentrics, every day from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. As in all villages, the Market of the Eccentrics sets up shop in the heart of the Eccentrics of the World market to celebrate the vitality, commitment, and creativity of the associations and artists in our region. - Little Eccentrics Workshop, every day from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM (7:30 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, July 7). Dive into a whirlwind of color and creativity! Children and parents, come and participate in the "Little Eccentrics" workshops: art construction, vibrant drawing and painting, and collaborative artwork. The "Little Eccentrics" space welcomes children aged 6 to 12, accompanied by an adult. Tuesday, July 7: - From 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM: Josianes or the Art of Resistance (by the Josianes) With a touch of offbeat humor, blending acrobatics, frenetic choreography, and polyphonic singing, the four women of the JOSIANES company recount their outlandish adventures and explore the concept of female resistance. - From 9:00 PM to 10:30 PM: Concert by Bia Ferreira. Bia Ferreira is a Brazilian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and artivist who has established herself as one of the most powerful voices on the contemporary Latin American music scene. - From 10:30 PM to midnight: DJ Carlala. Between Reggaeton, Flamenco, Brazilian funk, Bubbling, Guaracha, Bouyon, and Drum & Bass, Carla produces, remixes, performs, plays, and brings with her all the influences that make her city, Marseille, vibrate. Thursday, July 9th - From 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM: Performance "Se sauver" (Escape). Farewell party for Cie Janette. Come have a last drink and say goodbye to three fictional women who have infiltrated the daily life of the city of Martigues from Sunday, July 5th to Wednesday, July 8th! The first escaped from her marriage. The second dreamed so much of adventure that she finally took the plunge. The third deserted her office. Chance, weariness, fantasy—these three women escaped and found themselves on the road. Until the day they arrived in Martigues. - From 8 pm to 9 pm: "Tuiles" show by Cie Atoll K. The character invites us into his quirky and poetic world where everyday objects, repurposed from their original function, play tricks on him: a magic stool disappears, a clothesline rebels to become a disjointed bird, and chip boxes with improbable contents transform into an orchestra. Friday, July 10 - From 10:15 pm to midnight: Karaoke Orchestar Karaoke with live musicians! You won't be able to just stand by and watch. Whether you're cheering on your colleagues or joining them on stage, with Karaoke Orchestar, you're the stars! Saturday, July 11 - From 7 pm to 8 pm: "Surcouf" show by Cie Sacékripa. An acrobatic duo on a boat! And then we'll learn to swim! They arrive to the rhythm of the water; one might almost think they're imposing their rhythm on the water. They've come from afar, perhaps a long time ago, together. - From 9 pm to 10 pm: Cagole Nomade Cabaret The free and joyfully excessive cabaret! Cagole Nomade arrives with a show tailor-made for festivals, a blend of participatory performances and multidisciplinary shows. - From 10 pm to midnight: Vaudou Game Concert. The group is distinguished by its socially conscious lyrics, delivered with contagious live energy, inviting the audience into a trance and a place for reflection. Their music, both festive and profound, draws on voodoo rituals while embracing soul, R&B, and Afrobeat influences. Sunday, July 12 - From 9:30 pm to 10:30 pm: Thighri Uzar Concert. “Tighri Uzar” is composed of three Algerian women from Yakouren in Kabylia. They perform traditional Kabyle songs a cappella, sometimes accompanied by percussion (darbuka or bendir). - From 10:30 p.m. to midnight: Twerkistan Concert. This isn't a DJ set! It's a show! The audience is part of the performance! Twerkistan is a vibrant collective, bringing together a team of artists and professionals who have been shaking up the urban cultural scene since 2017! “Our village is your village!” some chant… “Festive!” others sing… “Popular!” still others reply… Once again, the Fadas du Monde (World Enthusiasts) are creating the Village, where we'll welcome everyone's suggestions—our friends, our families… the world, in short! … Building a world founded on everyone's contribution! The aim of this unique initiative? A festive and inclusive village, a synthesis of everyone's wishes, revealing the expression of everyone's cultural rights. Four days of concentrated collective energy developed over months and weeks, guided by two artists who weave the common thread. A choreographer who sets the rhythm of the upcoming celebration to music, and an urban storyteller who brings to life the dance of the Fadas people! An event of doing things together, an opportunity to celebrate diversity, a
