By the Sea

Part of the Parc National de Port-Cros, the car-free island of Porquerolles invites you to stroll or bike its well-preserved trails and coastline. Nicknamed the pearl of the Îles d’Or, this gem offers blissful beaches, spectacular nature, and amazing art. Don’t miss the just-opened Fondation Carmignac, whose April – Nov. exhibits feature notable art in a most sublime setting.

Famous for its palm trees, Hyères has grown into Provence’s design capital. Soaring above the city, the white modernist Villa Noailles and its cutting-edge expos are a must for architecture, fashion, and design buffs. Down below amongst the city’s pink facades, follow the art trail.
