For those seeking a culturally enriching vacation, you can explore the museums and monuments in Toulon. You can also visit the Cap Garonne Mine Museum, located in the nearby town of Carqueiranne.

If you’re a food enthusiast, Provence boasts a bountiful terroir, and you can savor regional specialties during your stay in Le Pradet. You can visit vineyards, dine at restaurants, or explore local markets. A producer’s market takes place on Tuesday mornings, and a large weekly market is held every Friday morning.

The National Park of Port-Cros and Porquerolles

Discover, just a short distance from the Maures Massif, the archipelago of the Golden Isles.

Port-Cros, once protected from Barbary pirate incursions by fortifications like Fort de l’Estissac, boasts exceptional biodiversity. Here, you can observe birds such as the Mediterranean gull, the Mediterranean shearwater, and the short-toed eagle.

The island of Porquerolles also hosts exceptional wildlife and flora and has been home to the National Mediterranean Botanical Conservatory since 1971. Port-Cros Park not only protects the Golden Isles but also a remarkable coastal area.
