Conceived by Yvan Loiseau, LA PLUS GRANDE TABLE DU MONDE is an invitation to all the world's inhabitants to come and celebrate encounters through cuisine.
It's a crazy project, created to showcase French people and recipes, and to demonstrate French solidarity to the world. It's a counterpoint to the times we're living through, a mad desire to get together, to continue living, to give meaning to our lives, for all generations.
The project has been running since 2020, with 35 giant tables breaking a Guinness Book world record in 2022.
The success of these five years of co-construction with over 300 associative, artistic, culinary, social and sporting structures has encouraged us to continue in 2025. For 2023, the World's Biggest Table was under the patronage of Guillaume Gomez, the French President's personal representative for Gastronomy and Food. For 2025, we welcome a new patron: Jean Pascal Zadi.
