Cécile Chappat has long been devoted to ceramics, which she taught for several years, but one day she “stumbled” into watercolours at Marithé Bouillon's studio. She is now happily immersed in it, using a highly personal technique to evoke the country of her Japanese grandfather.
Another aspect of her work is gyotaku and collage. These fish prints in ink are cut out, retouched and mixed with various types of paper.

Opening Saturday 19 April 2025 at 6pm in the presence of the artist.
Presented by our partner Café Marguerite.
