For over 75 years, the people of Grasse have come together on the fi rst weekend of August to celebrate one of their most emblematic flowers: jasmine. From August 1st to 3rd, don’t miss the floral magic of this essential summer event in the heart of Grasse.

Every year since 1946, Grasse has celebrated jasmine as part of the traditional Jasmine Festival. During the festival, the city comes alive with flower-covered parades, processions, jasmine-themed gatherings, fireworks, dance parties, and a flower market. At the heart of the festivities, the grand flower parade enchants young and old alike with its magnificently decorated floats, parading in an explosion of colors and scents. One of the most eagerly anticipated moments is the jasmine shower, when thousands of fresh flowers are tossed into the crowd, creating a magical and immersive atmosphere. Concerts, street performances, and shows round out this festive event, which attracts thousands of visitors every year. A true symbol of local tradition, the Jasmine Festival carries on the legacy of a unique region, where flower cultivation is inextricably linked to the identity of Grasse. Friday, July 31 Cours Honoré Cresp - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Exhibition by the SOLD’ARTISTE association - 7 p.m. to midnight: Dance party with Fred Rebuffo - 10:15 p.m.: Fireworks Look up and enjoy the colorful fireworks launched from the Jardin des Plantes. Saturday, August 1 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Provençal and flower market Place aux Aires Starting at 1:00 PM: Street performances Musicians, circus performers, dancers… artists will be strolling through the historic center in a truly festive atmosphere. Starting at 6:00 PM: Concert by the band Cassonade: pop, rock, blues, and jazz Place aux Aires Starting at 9:00 p.m.: Flower Parade, Battle of the Flowers, Jasminade Under the fragrant spray from the firefighters, experience the heart of the Jasmine Festival. Decorated floats, extraordinary costumes… the flower parade will fill your head with memories and your eyes with stars.
