Hear ye, hear ye, children, listen to the story of the wise Odysseus, king
of Ithaca, conqueror of Troy, husband of Penelope! You will become
his sailors and, with him, sail the stormy seas, meet the divine
Calypso, the treacherous sorceress Circe, the big Cyclops who stinks and farts!
Hear the song of the sirens! Finally return to his island, his palace, his son
Telemachus, his faithful wife with nimble fingers, Penelope! Attention, the story is about to begin! Be good,
listen and... get ready!"
Building on its success at the Avignon Festival, Le Retour d'Ulysse was notably programmed for
two months in Paris (Comédie Nation), where it played to packed houses! This time, the show is at
Les Funambules, so hurry along!
