Spearheaded by the artistic and cultural company "La Chambre" and its artistic director Jean-Sébastien Beauvais, since 2018 Les BaroQuiales has highlighted the interdisciplinary nature of the Arts, transmission and creation centered around its lifelong soul: baroque music, thus bringing a new dynamic to this annual event, favoring original and in-situ creations, the promotion of emerging ensembles and territorial action, developing master classes and educational projects for amateur audiences.
The BaroQuiales, a member of REMA (Réseau Européen de Musique Ancienne - European Early Music Network), has a European dimension, and its multi-disciplinary programming highlights a past intimately linked to the economic and religious vitality of the highlands, where music, a universal art form, becomes a symbol of fraternity and cultural exchange...
For the 2025 edition, we have a host of surprises in store in Roquebrune Village, Trophée d'Auguste, Saorge and Breil-sur-Roya, and of course in Sospel, the Festival's birthplace.
