On 6 December 2025, the La Calécita du Grès Association will continue its series of three workshops on the complementarity of roles and how they are changing.
It covers two different but related topics:
- Guiding more complex figures such as giros
- Interpreting music as a couple
For guiding complex structures, we will look at guiding turns in parallel steps, cross steps, and enroqué. Finally, we will discuss the possibilities of saccades during the turn.
For interpreting music, we will focus on initiating a dance that is perfectly in time with the music for two, both in the general structure of the tango and in its rhythmic or melodic variations; the aim being to break away from automatic responses in order to achieve a true interpretation.
It is desirable that you are a couple for both workshops, i.e. one leader and one follower, regardless of gender.
10 euros per person for the workshop.
