Nestled on the heights of Eyragues, Domaine Éklô is a family vineyard born from a passionate challenge: to revive an untamed terroir.
After a meticulous cleaning and clearing work of land left free for thirty years, this estate is now hatching a modern vineyard, bold and entirely managed in organic farming.
The name Éklô, inspired by the word 'hatching', symbolizes birth and renewal: the idea of a vineyard that comes to life on a land long asleep. The K, little used in French, brings a touch of modernity and daring, while the Ô evokes the roots and memory of the terroir.
The vineyard benefits from a magnificent mosaic of grape varieties (Grenache gris, Cinsault, Rolle, Syrah, Chenin or even Petit Verdot) planted on rich soils that infuse the cuvées with a unique structure and freshness.
The work is done in an absolute quest for precision and respect for grapes. The vinifications are made to measure, grape variety by grape variety, in small tanks, subtly mixing whole grapes and destemmed grapes to reveal all the aromatic complexity of the wines.
A place of passion and know-how to discover during a stop at the estate.
