Located at the confluence of the Rhône and Durance rivers, just a few kilometers south of Avignon and north of the Alpilles Massif, Barbentane is an authentic tourist destination in Provence.

Your vacation in Barbentane invites you to recharge in a setting typical of Provence. The Calendale Gate and the Séquier Gate are remnants of the ancient medieval walls and allow you to enter the historic center of the village. A stroll through the streets offers multiple discoveries: you can admire the Maison des Chevaliers, built in the 12th century with a beautiful Renaissance facade. To the south, the Anglica Tower, built in the 14th century and restored in the 18th century, showcases beautiful medieval architecture. You can also discover the Notre-Dame-des-Grâces Church, a Romanesque building from the 12th century, expanded in the 14th century.

To the north of the village, the Château de Barbentane is sometimes called the Petit Trianon of Provence. As a private property, it is not open for tours, but it has served as a set for films and series.
