The most beautiful beaches in Villeneuve-Loubet

Halfway between Cannes and Nice, Villeneuve-Loubet is a popular seaside resort on the French Riviera. Discover the most beautiful beaches and the many water activities offered by this popular tourist destination.

The Bouches du Loup beach

Adjacent to the beach next to the racetrack of Cagnes-sur-Mer, the Bouches du Loup beach is easily accessible and unrolls a wide carpet of fine sand for lovers of the Big Blue. A first-aid station, showers and sanitary facilities complete the range of services on offer. There are also restaurants nearby, to share a gourmet break in front of the sea. An access ramp for people with reduced mobility has been installed.

La Batterie beach

To the east of the Baie des Anges Marina, the public beach of La Batterie is easily accessible, with the proximity of a parking lot (paying in summer). Made up of pebbles, it offers disabled access for people with reduced mobility. Sanitary facilities and showers are available to vacationers. Nearby, a beach volleyball court promises frenzied games and lots of laughter.

Private beaches offer mattresses and parasols for rent, and the terraces of straw huts and restaurants are ideal for a well-deserved gourmet or refreshing break.

The Vaugrenier beach

Stretching from the Baie des Anges Marina to the gates of Marineland Antibes, Vaugrenier’s pebble beach is less crowded than the other swimming spots in Villeneuve-Loubet. The steep slope and large pebbles can make it difficult for younger children to swim.

Nearby, you can take advantage of the pine forests of the Vaugrenier departmental park for a walk in the shade of the trees.

Water Activities

This seaside resort on the French Riviera is a great playground for water sports enthusiasts. You can rent a kayak, a canoe or a paddle, and thus share fun water activities accessible to the whole family. Thrill seekers will appreciate flyboarding that offers the unique sensation of flying over the Mediterranean Sea. You can also rent a jet ski, or try out other activities such as parasailing, flyfish, wakeboarding, towed buoy… The sea bed can be admired during an introduction to scuba diving, or snorkeling, with fins, mask and snorkel.  The waterfront straw huts open their doors for a lunch, a dinner, an aperitif.
