Monuments and heritage in Cotignac
Built in the 16th century, the church of Notre-Dame-de-Grâces de Cotignac (also called the sanctuary of Notre-Dame des Grâces) was a very important place of pilgrimage in the 17th century.
The Saint-Joseph du Bessillon monastery is still occupied by monks. You can stay in the guesthouse for a spiritual retreat. You can also attend masses.
The caves in the cliff above Cotignac were inhabited for a long time, and you can admire the remains of these troglodyte houses. Several medieval towers still stand on the rock.
