Mondays are for nature hikes! Facing the glaciers, you can take advantage of an exceptional variety of ecosystems to meet the inhabitants of the meadows, mountain pastures and forests: small animals, birds of prey and flowers.

Using simplified scientific protocols developed by the University of Grenoble, and equipped with magnifying glasses, binoculars and spotting scopes, you'll investigate the altitudinal limits of vegetation levels, assess the diversity of insect and small animal families, and reference key flower and tree species.

Did the speckled nutcracker fly by and leave a few pine seeds to nibble on later? And if we are lucky, the hawks and vultures might fly by.

In any case, this wilderness hike will allow you to enjoy a parade of exceptional natural environments, and to combine the discovery of fauna, flora and the mineral world, with observations and sampling, just like budding scientists.

Every Monday on reservation if the minimum number of participants is reached. Other dates can be booked on request.
